No. Seriously.
brittanibotulism:
If you’re a guy who gets offended or angry by anyone calling out “Nice Guys” then there’s a high likelihood that, because you cannot discern between true friendship and a douche canoe simply looking for sex (and making women feel bad or rude when they turn you down), you’re a “Nice Guy.” A woman doesn’t owe you jack shit just because you treat her like a human being.

Today's Pro-Tip
If you don’t want people to immensely dislike you, you should probably not do incredibly disrespectful shit and lie about it.

Tales from the Land of Cacapoopoopeepeeshire
In the ongoing saga of my professional life, I have hopefully landed a job in Rhode Island (doing a trial contract at the moment and I’m in LOVE with this job so far).
But sweet angel hair, I am not moving there. Sometimes I feel like southern Connecticut is a small patch of sanity betwixt New England stereotypes and… New York (*shudder*). In the 60 miles between my apartment and...

My Filthy Fucking Woman Mouth
I curse. I curse a lot. Most of the time, I don’t realize I’m doing it. When in professional situations, I have to be aware of whats about to come out of my mouth and have an active filter. Professional situations. The other 16 hours of the day is open season.
I fucking love the English language [all languages really, but English is what I am intimate with]. I love subtlety,...
Sometimes while I ride the subway I try to look at each person and imagine what...

Think women have achieved equality? Think again. →
We Can’t Be Equal While:
Gender Roles
Men are the default and women are the Other (and therefore lesser).
Being called “girly” or a “sissy” or “pussy” are some of the worst insults you can give a man.
When a woman shows confidence in herself, she is said to “have balls”, or conversely she is a “man-eater”, “ball-buster”, or a “bitch” because she was “too” assertive.
Men are beat up,...

Where Oh Where Could They Come From?
Knowing thought is not the forte of the devoutly religious, this one always turns the knife for me:
“But if you don’t believe in God, where do you get your morals from?!”
There’s a very succinct answer for this: MY FUCKING PARENTS. Same place the religious get their morals from. You know what fucks people up? BAD PARENTING, not a lack of religion.
I shudder to think...

Sessions Presents: A Peter Griffin Christmas →
Nothing but fucking Christmas music in the office. Terrible, terrible music, the only purpose it serves is to get this clip stuck in my head.
Now the challenge is to not audibly sing “they’re up in my bummmmmm”

MediaCrisis.net: Atheist Outreach = Missed... →

I’m not a fan of organized religion. Atheism is just kind of where I fell into with my personal beliefs. However, I’m not a douche bag. If someone wants to believe there’s a teapot behind the moon, thats great! Keep that out of government policies and I am A-OK with it.

Atheist Outreach = Missed Opportunity
I’m not a fan of organized religion. Atheism is just kind of where I fell into with my personal beliefs. However, I’m not a douche bag. If someone wants to believe there’s a teapot behind the moon, thats great! Keep that out of government policies and I am A-OK with it.
Over the past few years, several Atheist organizations (I know, I know) have purchased billboards and bus...

I'm a Sucker for a Quadraped with Brown Eyes
Upon going to the bank for my car loan yesterday, I discovered that I didn’t need to put a down payment on the car. They cut me a check for the whole shebang, DMV registration and all. Apparently this is because the amazingly awesome guys at the dealership sold me the car at 86% of its actual value, so the bank is all “psh, yeah, $14k? yours!”.
And they tell me this when I...
